great views but slightly dated

The staff were cute and helpful. Breakfast each morning featured fresh bread and local jams. The view from our room was amazing, showcasing the mountains beautifully. The garden view added a charming touch .

The decor seemed a bit outdated in some areas.

Quiet vibe, the staff is very polite and nice.

A safe, central heating, and a study table available in the king room. Good breakfast with a wide range of food. Gorgeous location close to restaurants and shops, excellent restaurants in the local area.

What makes it worth it, and what doesn't

Fine valley views from the room balcony made it a perfect getaway. The breakfast buffet was an absolute delight, and the staff were really nice too ensure a nice experience.

The uphill walk from the train station can be quite cumbersome, especially with luggage.

The room was impeccably clean with a view of the valley and with safe for safety measures. The location was beautiful and amazing, close to restaurants and shops, convenient to go everywhere.

The views from the hotel is very nice and the room is basic but clean.

The location is quite far and need to walk up the steep hill everytime when you want to get somewhere. There is no TV in a room. When my husband asked for a wine opener, the owner told him that he should drink at the bar or get our own opener. It was very uncomfortable experience. Also they have a free pick up from the station by a electric cart but be aware that they will charge you for drop off at the station. If you don't want to pay you have to carry your bags up the steep hill!!

the only downside was the walk back from the train station. but the breathtaking view from the balcony was unforgettable. enjoyed delicious breakfast buffets every morning, and the staff's warm welcome felt genuine and personal.

We liked the friendly, helpful atmosphere at the hotel. Our rooms were fine, with a fantastic mountain view. As we are from Sweden it was of course great to find a Swedish speaking person in the staff.

The hotel was located in an excellent location.And I had opted for a room facing the Mountain, so had a Balcony with an outstanding view of the Jungfrau. The staff were very kind and helpful. Neat and well maintained hotel.

It would be nice to have a wi-fi connnection, since most people now have smart phones and access to internet would be immensly helpful all ways.

We had a cute room with a balcony that had an very nice view of the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The hotel greeted us with delicious cookies, and the breakfast was great with the best croissants ever. Perfect location for hiking, and the hot tub outside was a great touch for relaxation.

We only think that it may be too expensive for the old room we had. Even if the room was very clean and comfortable.

Greatly enjoyed our stay in this delightful hotel with the attentive staff. The rooms turned out to be well heated and spacious with a balcony, gorgeous views and a mountain view. The location was beautiful and amazing - a few steps away from everywhere we wanted to go. Everything was simply wonderful.
